Peter Kelly

Peter KellyPeter Kelly is a Director and Shareholder of the Australian based Geoff Forrester Asia & Associates Pty Ltd (GFA&A), and President Director and Shareholder of PT Geoff Forrester Indonesia (GFI), a 100% foreign owned Indonesian company.

Peter specialises in high quality project management services specifically aimed at construction management, using skills gained from over 15 years’ experience successfully completing a broad range of projects in different industries, different cities and different countries. He has taken this experience and used it in other fields such as real estate development and in the manufacture of furniture. These new ventures add to his construction management expertise.

Peter undertakes individual projects, enabling him to maintain a dedicated, hands-on, on-the-ground approach from beginning to project completion. With his Bronte development starting in 2005, he is spending fifty percent of his time in Sydney. Working in two countries means that he needs to be -- and is -- highly organised. He speaks English and Indonesian fluently. Excellent teamwork, modern communications and IT are crucial to success in both environments.

In Indonesia, his work in 2002-2003 has ranged from large corporate headquarters for BHP Billiton, BHP Steel and J Walter Thompson Add Force to the construction of low-budget offices for the Australian Government’s Technical Assistance Management Facility (TAMF) and the Australian Development Scholarships Scheme in Jakarta.

In Sydney, current projects include Peter’s own dual occupancy development in Bronte where he intends to utilise product from Indonesian factories and materials such as marble, stone and some timber components. He is also currently engaged in studying the feasibility of supplying furniture and other building components to select Sydney wholesalers. He has developed and continues to maintain for GFA&A Pty Ltd other properties in Sydney, Canberra and Darwin.
